Great news to share in today’s post . . .
1. Above is the cover of an ebook I helped produce! It’s a cookbook written by Chris De La Rosa of http://www.CaribbeanPot.com.
Chris is an amazing chef whose goal is to bring Caribbean cuisine to the world. He’s accomplished a lot towards his goal by building a huge fan base on his website, FB page, newsletter, blog and his YouTube channel. The recipes are to die for . . . and I can say that without bias!!! Please check him out!!
I work with Chris as a Project Manager. I help him with his writing, I speak to the media who approach him. I help assemble teams for specific projects . . . I help keep CaribbeanPot.com on track. It’s a lot of fun and it means a lot to me. I’ve also learned a lot from Chris who is an on-line marketing guru.
I’m proud to be part of CaribbeanPot.com because it’s an amazing representation of Caribbean culture. Plus, Chris very powerfully disseminates traditional and fusion Caribbean cuisine.
Copies of the book are available through the CaribbeanPot.com website.
2. Tomorrow I attend an appointment in Toronto, at St. Michael’s Hospital, with a Cardiologist . . . in anticipation of my kidney transplant!!! I will have an echocardiogram and then meet with a heart specialist doctor.
I am meeting with a cardiologist at St. Mike’s because this is the hospital where I anticipate having my kidney transplant. Because I have a history of heart problems it is a good idea for me to have a relationship (and history) with a cardiologist at this hospital before I have the transplant. Should any heart related issues arise during the transplant operation, or otherwise, the cardiology team will already know me.
Meeting with this doctor is EXCITING because it’s confirmation that I am getting closer to my TRANSPLANT. I’ve done dialysis since 2009 so I am looking forward to putting the dialysis aside and just living a normal life again. (I’m sure you can relate.)
Thanks for checking in. See you again on Friday.
