I usually start my post by doing a google image search. I try to find an image that aligns with my post when I don’t have my own image to use.
So today I searched the word “wishes” and I was surprised to see pictures of dandelions (in the seed phase) come up. I was immediately taken back to about five years old when I learned to wish on dandelions. You blow on the dandelion like you were blowing out birthday candles and wish for something good.
Outside everywhere now are the little white afro dandelions. At the side of the road. On lawns. On the grass by my apartment building. Wow!!
It just seems so fitting that this symbol surrounds me now. It’s part of my logo, for God’s sake. These little dandelions mean a lot to me.
I guess somewhere in the back of my mind I remembered those days in the school yard rushing from dandelion to dandelion making wishes. The little seeds floating through the air. Surrounding us like clouds.
And how fitting to my life today. I am sending out packages to ask people to let me write articles for their magazines. I’m sending out packages to ask for financial support.
All I’m doing is making wishes these days.
Sometimes we seek a sign . . . not realizing that the signs have been there all along.
Right now I am feeling a lot of hope and positivity about the seeds I’m sowing. I’m feeling an affirmation that I am doing the right thing.
Make sure you make your wishes too . . . there are more than enough to go around.
